At the old East End Fruit Markets in Adelaide- built using wood fired oven technology - the hand fired clay bricks (hand cut into 3000 wedge shapes by friends)were dry stacked over packed straw, with the topmost tiny piece placed from a painters scaffold. The form was kept true to vertical with a hanging plumbob. The form appeared to lift the floor of worn red bricks towards the aged wood beams overhead(2m W x 3m H).
